Shaquira Johnson


Shaquira Johnson is Vice President and Initiative Development Manager of the Business Banking Segment for KeyBank. Her responsibilities include driving the execution of sales programs and tools to support strategic initiatives. She collaborates with partners across the bank to ensure the needs of business clients are met through product delivery, marketing, technology and communications.

Shaquira joined KeyBank in 2006 and has 16 years of banking experience. She has held management positions at KeyBank and MBNA America (now Bank of America).

Shaquira currently serves as President of the NBMBAA Cleveland – NEO Chapter and Vice President of the Hawken Alumni Board. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland. She is recognized as a past inductee of Kaleidoscope’s 40/40 Club. Shaquira is committed to having a positive impact in her community and worships at Lift Him Up Apostolic Faith Church.

Shaquira earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Denison University and her Master of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Antoinette M. Baker

VP of Operations

Antoinette (Toni) M. Baker has served in leadership roles for 25 years in various Fortune 500 companies in Northeast Ohio. She is currently an Operations Manager for PNC Financial Services. Toni earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management (BSIM) from the University of Akron and holds a Master of Science in Management (MSM) from Indiana Wesleyan University. Toni is the Vice President of Operations of the National Black MBA Association, Northeast Ohio Chapter, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is a volunteer for Hospice of the Western Reserve. She is a self-published author and motivational speaker. Toni enjoys taking walks in the park; watching sunrises and sunsets; and spending time with family and friends. This year celebrating 25 years of marriage to Bennie; stepmother of Brandon and Brandi; grandmother of Ja’Kayla and Alana.

Barry Dean Bennett


Barry Bennett is a Senior Financial Analyst for a Local Non Profit Organization. Barry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Non-Profit Management from Walden University. He also has a Master of Public Administration—Public Sector Management degree from Park University. Barry has attended Harvard University’s Performance Management for Non-Profit Organizations. He also has additional course-work at the Kellogg School of Non-Profit Management.

In addition to his strong financial and non-profit background, he is an experienced grant administrator and writer of federal grants. Barry is a devout Christian and family man. He and his wife Barbara resides on Cleveland’s East side.


Darrell Johnson

Immediate Past President

Darrell Johnson is the Immediate Past President of NBMBAA Cleveland Chapter. As a Cleveland, Ohio native, Darrell Johnson is a lifetime member of NBMBAA and has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, capital markets and business development. He has a background of providing in interest rate and cross currency hedging solutions, in addition he designs financial models that analyze the impact of various interest rate and currencyhedging strategies on cash flow. Darrell received his B.S. degree in Finance from Cleveland State University and his M.B.A. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
